Maia Sophia Bowers was born today at 4:33 AM! Her measurements are almost
exactly that of her big sister, Alessia, at birth. She measures 20"
and weighs 7 lbs 5 oz.

Yes, it has been a very long time since I've updated this site. Many
apologies to all the family and friends that have visited the site looking for
pictures of Alessia. I'm going to make an extra effort to get at least a few
pictures a month onto the site (no matter how busy things get).
Many of you already know, but for those who don't ... Michelle is pregnant
again! We're very excited and have already found out that it's a girl.
Michelle's due date is April 28th but we have a feeling the real date may
actually be sometime in May. In preparation for kiddo #2, we're moving Alessia
into a new room so that we can keep the nursery as it is.
This has meant putting together Alessia's new room... which we've just finished!

We just got the August pictures
posted. Alessia has become much more vocal and has started to imitate sounds.
She squeals in response to Michelle's voice and will even imitate Jess' pager.
She is a very happy little girl.

The July pictures of Alessia are up.
She is full of smiles and is a very happy baby. We've stared to feed her a few
solid foods. So far, she's had rice cereal, bananas, and avocados.

Just posted the June pictures of
Alessia. She continues to grow and is now definitely too large for her second
batch of clothes. At her 4 month pediatrician appointment, she was in the 75th
percentile for weight and 90th percentile for length. We affectionately call her our "chunk of love. :-)"

The May pictures of Alessia are up.
She is getting so big! She's outgrown all of her first batch of clothes and is
quickly outgrowing the second batch.
Her dexterity has really improved and she can pick up just about anything in
reach. Her latest trick is to lay on her back, lift her legs into the air, and
grab her toes. Also, just about everything she can get her hands on must be
tasted.
